binvoice makes invoices at binvoice.cc. It is made and run by one person: me, Matias Barragan. This page says what binvoice keeps about you and how to remove it. If something here is unclear, write to mati@barragan.com.py.
Your invoices
Your invoices are made in your browser, and the PDF is drawn there too. They are kept in your browser's storage on this device while Save my invoices is on. Turning it off, or clearing the browser's site data, removes them. Bank lookups happen in your browser as well: your IBAN is never sent to find your bank.
If you share a link
Share link stores a copy of that invoice at Neon so your client can open it. Links made without an account expire after 30 or 90 days, as you choose; signed in, you can also keep one until you delete it. Stop sharing deletes the copy at once. If someone reports a link, the reason they give and a scrambled form of their IP address are kept so I can review it.
If you sign in
Signing in is optional and uses your bstack account at auth.bstack.cc (Kinde). Save my invoices is on until you turn it off. While it is on, each invoice is also kept at Neon under your account, so it shows on every device you sign in on. Invoices stay until you delete them here or at bstack.cc/account. Deleting your bstack account deletes them, and your links, too.
In your browser
binvoice remembers whether you chose light or dark, and keeps your invoices as described above. After you sign in once it also remembers that, so it can check your bstack sign-in when you come back.
Who else is involved
Vercel hosts the pages. Neon holds shared links and, for signed-in people, the account copy of their invoices. Kinde runs the sign-in. Like any web host they receive your IP address and the pages you open. To stop abuse, binvoice counts how many links and reports come from one place, using a scrambled IP that changes every day.
What I don't do
I measure how bstack is used, such as which pages are opened and from what kind of device, to keep the tools running and decide what to build. That never includes what you type in an invoice, and I never sell or share your data. Guest pages may show ads one day: before any ad cookie is set, a small notice asks you, and the tool keeps working while it shows. Signed in, you see no ads. How binvoice makes money is on the Trust page.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, the date above changes and binvoice will say so.
